I'll have to put in a request for this the next time we have a road trip.
That's funny. I've only ever listened to 2 books on tape in my life. One of them was Shop Girl. The other was one of the Bridget Jones ones. Made me want to talk with a British accent for days afterwards.
Haha, I said "on tape" - does that make me really old? They were actually on CD. :)
I have heard that was good! I just read Persepolis (also a movie) and it was great. Can't wait for the dvd to come out to compare :-)
oh oh, check out any of steve martin's other books. i stumbled upon his name in the bookstore a few years ago and thought 'what! why didn't i know he wrote books too!' and promptly bought them all, haha. they're really good reads.. especially when you start picturing him acting this and saying that...
it's ok, kellybot, I typed tape and had to go back and correct it!
esta sketch, I have to go look for Martin's other works.
I so wish I could enjoy books on CD; my husband gets great picks...I'm such a weirdo textophile; I can't even watch a movie without subtitles. Enjoy your summer 'reading'.
