Finally Gone Electronic

I noticed on a recent trip to the Post Office that those pesky Change of Address cards seem to have disappeared.

What an earth friendly change! Now to change your address is an online adventure. Simply go here to put in your old address and your new address and once it's verified, your mail will follow you to the new place.

Texture Tuesday

I just had to share that I've been working on lots and lots of new garlands for my Etsy shop! They're made with magazine's catalogs and junk mail! I find it very relaxing to make them and they are so fun to decorate with!

I'm loving the way their texture looks - all stacked up like this!!

Poetry For The End of Summer

maggie and milly and molly and may - e.e. cummings

maggie and milly and molly and may
went down to the beach(to play one day)

and maggie discovered a shell that sang so sweetly
she couldn't remember her troubles,

and milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;

and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles:

and may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone.

For whatever we lose(like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea

Summer Reading

As you already know, David Sedaris is one of my fave authors. His quirky humor always make me laugh and this one has a darker than usual edge to it. It's sort of Aesop's Fables meets Grimm's Fairy Tales with an always unique Sedaris twist.

If you're looking for one more summer read before school gets rocking and rolling again -- this is a good one!
