Alternative Gift Wrap Ideas: Part One
The gift wrapping season is upon us and I'm always percolating on different ways to wrap gifts in unique ways. In this example, I used reclaimed sewing patterns instead of wrapping paper. (If you don't have them lying around they are easy to find at thrift stores.) These are naturally kind of a "tea stained" color and a thin black satin ribbon finishes them beautifully.
Rescued sewing patterns also make unique tissue paper if you're wrapping with boxes or bags.
