Today's word is upcycle. I learned this word on twitter. Increase the value of something that most of society considers useless + allow item to reenter the world of usefulness=upcycled.
My jeans had holes in them, so I cut them up and upcycled them into a messenger bag.
What fun new words have you learned this year?

I don't think I've learnt any new words this week, but I surely have debated the bad spelling of two words at work!
I often get confused when it comes to words like upcycle, repurpose, recycle, etc. So even though I've heard this word before, you just clarified the meaning of it for me. Thanks!
