NEW! Origami Stationery and a Mother's Day Concert

So with some experimentation and fun conversations, I have started making origami stationery.

Here's a sneak peak of a set that I am donating to the Women's Chorus of Dallas fundraiser silent auction. I met one of their members at an Earth Day event and we got to talking and voila!

They are focused on butterflies and pink.

Their next event is on Mother's Day at Fair Park and all the details are available here.

The idea of stationery has been floating around for a while but after my conversation with Frida,  I had to take action! Available in my Etsy shop later this month!

Eco Monday: Custom Wedding Clutch

Here's a sneak peek at a custom wedding clutch that I recently finished. The outside is made of woven Reader's Digest pages and the inside is lined with marbelized cotton fabric.

I love the way it turned out and so does the bride to be! :)

Word for Wednesday

Today's word is a phrase, "church it up". This is a word I learned from office mates! "Church it up" is something a coworker said when we were talking about tidying up the office prior to a client visit.

The clients will be here in an hour. C'mon you guys, helpm e church it up in here!

Today the White Rock Local Market will run from 8a-1p today and will have local food, local goods, art, earth friendly goods, clothes and more. There will also be music by Wattson Electric from 10:30-1.

The market is at The Green Spot Market & Fuels at 702 N. Buckner Blvd., Dallas, TX 75218. Come by and check it out. I'll be there with earth friendly frills from La Alicia.
